The Casino Food Company Limited is a leading export food processor with production facilities at Casino and Booyong, near Lismore, in the Northern Rivers area of the NSW Far North Coast.We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Electrician to join our maintenance department. The successful candidate will work as part of our team of Electricians to aid in the repair, operation, and maintenance of company electrical and automated systems.ResponsibilitiesDevelopment and monitoring of routine equipment maintenance with a strong emphasis on preventative maintenance utilizing MEX.Fault finding, monitoring and maintenance of production equipment.Maintenance and troubleshooting with PLC installation.Commissioning, testing and certifying all required electrical work.Interpreting technical literature and troubleshooting complex systems.Adhering to all quality, food safety, WHS and environmental policies and procedures.Variable speed drives and soft starter diagnostics and programming.Shifts & RosterShifts across day, afternoon, and nightRegular weekend work, on a rotating roster or as required for maintenance coverageOvertime opportunities available during peak operational periods or breakdown eventsQualificationsRelevant electrical trade qualifications and license.Experience working in an industrial environment with exposure to PLC''s, VSD''s and Soft starters is highly regarded.Strong work ethic and a positive attitude towards work.Solid understanding of electrical maintenance and repairs.Strict adherence to WHS requirements.Ability to undertake rotating shift rosters including weekends.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Ability to learn new computer systems and a willingness to undertake further training and personal development.Applications close Friday 20th February 2026Unlock job insightsYour application will include the following questions:How many years'' experience do you have as an electrician?Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia? #J-18808-Ljbffr
