The opportunity allows you to identify, plan and manage education, support upskilling needs and facilitate training across all areas of community operations. With an initial focus on medication skill uplift through simulation and assessment with Community Workers, you will also drive planning and delivery of other training programs to enhance employee knowledge, skills and performance and reduce risk. Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager and supported by the L&D team, you will work closely with Regional and Business Managers and operational teams in this varied and hands on role. Your ability to engage and effectively influence across all areas of community operations, your curiosity to understand the business and passion for educating will be highly valued and critical to your success.ResponsibilitiesFacilitate and deliver ongoing education and training to all employees, supporting compliance with Aged Care Quality StandardsDevelop training calendar/s and plans aligning with maintaining high compliance levelsCoordinate and deliver selected induction training for new employeesConduct training needs analysis (TNA) to identify gaps and develop learning plansSupport and mentor employees, fostering a positive and collaborative learning environmentBuild and assess competencies to ensure complianceUtilise blended learning methods and adult learning principles to maximise engagement and capability upliftMonitor and report on compliance with training and onboarding plans, escalating issues as requiredCollaborate with managers, HR, and clinical teams to ensure training aligns with organisational needsQualificationsCertificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalentRegistered Nurse (AHPRA registration) - essentialDemonstrated experience in facilitating/delivering education and training programmes - ideally within community based operational settingStrong understanding of workplace health and safety, Aged Care Legislation and Quality StandardsAbility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamWillingness to travel (planned travel) and obtain a police checkDrivers Licence and vehicle travel/km''s reimbursed + Parking availableBenefitsCatholic Healthcare employees receive additional leave days, salary packaging, fitness benefits, paid parental and family leave, and long service leave after five years.Catholic Healthcare is a values-based organisation that welcomes applicants from all faiths and backgrounds.
