Guided by our Christian ethos and the principles of Catholic Social Justice, we are committed to inclusive service delivery and proudly welcome employees and clients of all religions, backgrounds, and beliefs.Primary ObjectiveThe Service Scheduling Officer is responsible for the coordinated scheduling, verification and allocation of Home & Yard Maintenance services (including contractor delivered services) in accordance with the approved Service Delivery Model. The role ensures efficient utilisation of the workforce, continuity of service delivery, and timely response to client and operational requirements across funded and private services.Working closely with the Service Manager and broader Home & Yard Maintenance team, the Service Scheduling Officer maintains accurate rosters, manages planned and unplanned changes, and supports service continuity, safety oversight and client experience within the Support at Home operating environment.Key DutiesDevelop, maintain and publish accurate daily and forward rosters for Home Maintenance and Yard Maintenance services in accordance with the approved Service Delivery Model;Allocate services efficiently, balancing client need, workforce availability, travel time, skill mix, safety considerations and industrial requirements;Manage urgent service requests, weather or equipment disruptions and other scheduling contingencies;Act as a central coordination point between the Service Manager Home and Yard Maintenance, Team Leader Home and Yard Maintenance, field staff, Assessment and Quoting Officer and Customer Support Officer functions;Communicate roster changes and service impacts clearly and respectfully to staff, clients and Care Partners;Monitor roster integrity and proactively identify gaps, conflicts or inefficiencies, escalating issues where required;Ensure scheduling practices align with SCHADS Award provisions, organisational policies and employment conditions;Maintain accurate service records within relevant client management and rostering systems to support billing accuracy;Support operational oversight by providing timely information regarding workforce utilisation, service delivery risks and scheduling trends; andContribute to continuous improvement of scheduling processes, tools and procedures.Qualifications and ExperienceRelevant experience in a scheduling, rostering, administration or coordination role within a service delivery, maintenance, community services or customer service environment.Certificate III in Business Administration, Community Services, or a related discipline;Experience working within SCHADS Award or similar industrial instruments; andExperience supporting multi-disciplinary or field-based teams.In addition to the above, you will need to demonstrate:High level of problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, operational environment;High level of customer service skills, including the ability to respond professionally to clients and staff under pressure;Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail when managing schedules and service data;Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and competing demands;Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment;Sound level of verbal and written communication skills; andSound level of computer literacy, including use of the Microsoft Office Suite and corporate systems.Other RequirementsA current C or CA class Driver''s license (QLD)The successful candidate will also be required to demonstrate entitlement to work in Australia, and to disclose any pre-existing injury or disease which may be adversely affected by undertaking the inherent requirements of the position.All offers of employment are subject to the satisfactory completion of relevant screening and background checks, including an Australian Federal Police check, an NDIS disability worker screening check, and attainment of a Blue Card for working with children, prior to commencement.What to Do NextTo apply for this position, please submit the following documents:Your current resumeA cover letter clearly addressing the key aspects and requirements of the role #J-18808-Ljbffr
