Working closely with the OSHC Manager, you can create something extraordinary from the ground up leaning on your knowledge and experience.The OSHC Coordinators work 2pm6pm MondayFriday (as well as fulltime vacation care, additional hours available for applicants with early childhood qualifications), providing a service that fosters a wide range of indoor and outdoor recreational activities in accordance with our school policies and procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of a stimulating and diverse programme relevant to the developmental needs of children attending the service, including those with additional needs.Assist in organising and maintaining programme resources and ensuring the programme venue is maintained to a high standard.Establish guidelines that encourage positive behaviour and facilitate effective interaction between groups and individuals utilizing the service.Administer procedures that ensure the health and safety of all children.Report and document observations of individuals or groups of children and the activities they are participating in for planning purposes.Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours.Role RequirementsExperience working with preschool to schoolaged children in delivering children''s indoor and outdoor activities in an OSHC or vacation care programme environment.Any exposure or certifications related to Food Safety Handling would be a great advantage.Must hold and maintain a current First Aid Certificate Level 2, Anaphylaxis training, Asthma training or be willing to obtain these.Certificate III Education, Diploma of Out of School Age Education and Care or qualification recognised by ACECQA.Hold or be willing to obtain an Employment Working With Children Check.Why Caulfield Grammar SchoolOur culture is defined by the five values: Pursuing Excellence, Inspiring Creativity, Thriving Together, Embracing Diversity, and Living Wholeheartedly.
