This position plays a vital role in assisting individuals to remain independent and engaged in their community, helping them avoid early admission to permanent residential care.The role involves weekend and overnight work.Your RoleDevelop and maintain social connections and independence in a home-like environment.Plan and implement engaging daily activities, including exercise, theme days, and arts & crafts.Provide personal care while maintaining dignity and privacy.Document and report client progress, noting any changes in care needs.Assist clients in participating in service activities, ensuring adequate supervision.About YouDesired Skills and ExperienceEssentialCertificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.Experience in cottage-style respite or SIL (overnight care experience desirable).Strong knowledge of lifestyle support practices.DesirableDementia training and experience.Flexibility to backfill overnight shifts as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
