About this roleWe are seeking a motivated and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team in a permanent part-time role, supporting pharmacy services across four acute hospital sites within the Macedon Ranges and Hepburn Shire.Working under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy and clinical pharmacists, this role plays a vital part in the safe and efficient delivery of hospital pharmacy services. The Pharmacy Technician supports medication distribution, stock management, and operational pharmacy activities, enabling pharmacists to focus on patientcentred clinical care.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the preparation and dispensing of medications in accordance with legislation and organisational policiesStock control, ordering, inventory management, and replenishment across multiple sitesTablet packing and medication distribution supportAssist with pharmaceutical manufacturing and compounding activities as requiredPerform basic clerical and administrative duties to support pharmacy operationsContribute to quality improvement, safety, and compliance initiatives.Details of AppointmentPermanent parttime position working 64 hours per fortnight.SalaryDependent on experience, as per award.About CHRHCentral Highlands Rural Health (CHRH) is a rural health organisation that operates five campuses across Hepburn Shire and the Macedon Ranges in the Central Highlands of Victoria in Australia, north and northwest of Melbourne.
