Present in more than 170 countries and with over 110,000 employees across 1,500 sites, we are proud to be a Top 5 global 3PL.Every day, our people imagine better ways to serve a world in motion creating smarter, safer, and more sustainable solutions for our customers.Your RoleExciting times are ahead as we''ve invested in brand-new European trucks and trailers as part of our national fleet.We''re seeking expressions of interest from experienced drivers to join our SA Casual Linehaul Drivers, based out of Wingfield.The position is ideal for individuals who enjoy the flexibility of working hours while maintaining a passion for driving.What are you going to do?Specifically, you will:Undertake depot-to-depot, direct and changeover runsPerform bulk pickup, drop-off and unloadOperate the vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, complying with regulatory requirements and CEVA policiesEnsure the safe handling and restraint of freight at all locations in conjunction with depot-based teamsComplete documentation relating to trips, such as pre-starts, work diary, delivery dockets and timesheets.What are we looking for?Our ideal candidate has experience in linehaul driving and a current MC driver licence together with:Good understanding of CoR, including basic fatigue management, mass / dimensions, maintenance and load restraint, freight loading/unloading procedures dimensions, maintenance and load restraint, freight loading/unloading proceduresGood reliability, work ethic, communication skills and attention to detail.In addition to providing proof of work rights and driver licence, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment, driver assessment, and national police check.What do we have to offer?Linehaul rate of $0.6346 / km (Grade 8) per the Road Transport (Long Distance Operations) AwardWith a genuine culture of reward and recognition, we want our employees to grow, develop and be part of our journey.
