This company is known to employ people long term, and they have a wide group of happily employed people across various business units; which also poses several career promotions.Your RoleReporting to the Department Manager, and working closely with all departments, you will be responsible for the successful operation of the mechanical workshop and maintain the distribution of various tools, chemicals and parts. Due to the urgent demands of corporate customers, triaging all jobs is crucial. Daily duties will require you to;Ensure that all tools are calibrated where necessary and maintained in good safe conditionEffectively deal with technician''s queries and respond to their requirements promptly and fairlyUse your overall general knowledge, and skills to repair hydraulics and toolsFollow up on outside supply orders and maintain accurate records of purchasesMaintain a comprehensive knowledge of all tools including their locations within the Supply CentreMaintain sound working relationships with all members of the service and parts departmentsEnsure the Supply Centre area is clean, tidy, and secure at all timesPractice and promote company WHS policies and processes at all timesPlan and organise own work in support of achieving the team''s prioritiesOther DetailsThis role is fulltime Monday - Friday, with the option of overtime and the occasional Saturday required. It is located in the Northern suburbs, with on-site parking. Salary guide between $70K - $80K + Super.
