Ability to work independently with a small team of carers and flexibility to cover additional day or night shifts is highly regarded.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation of meals; maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment.Assist with the serving of meals, including setting up and cleaning the dining room, trolleys and trays.Responsible for laundry duties including collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding and labelling.Distribution of linen and resident clothing; maintain the cleanliness of the laundry and equipment.Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the facility''s residential areas.About YouOur ideal candidate has:Key Selection CriteriaProven experience in commercial food preparation/food service and/or cleaningCurrently holds, or willing to obtain a current Police CheckBasic computer skills, including the ability to use Outlook and Internet Explorer.Hold valid Australian Work Rights (Sponsorship not available)Importantly, you will be someone who closely aligns with our organisational values of: Integrity, Compassion, Excellence and Courage.About UsWith over 140 years of care and compassion, Churches of Christ is one of Australia''s largest not-for-profits.
