This is a permanent part-time role (Shifts: Mon-Wed-Fri 7:00am to 1:30pm) across two sites, Jolimont & Notting Hill (VIC).Position PurposeThe Theatre Technician supports City Fertility''s perioperative and day hospital associated teams to deliver safe, high-quality, compassionate care. You''ll prepare and maintain theatres and clinical environments to the highest standards, working closely with nurses and clinicians to enable calm, efficient patient flow and excellent clinical outcomesall aligned to our values of Compassion, Respect, Commitment, Quality, and Communication.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare operating theatres daily, ensuring all equipment is ready and functionalMaintain and care for theatre and clinical equipment, reporting faults promptlyAssist perioperative teams with patient positioning, preparation, and transfersClean, reset, and restock theatres between procedures to infection control standardsManage waste, linen, and stock in line with WHS and infection control requirementsSupport recovery areas and staff facilities as requiredAssist with transporting patients to hospital discharge zoneCommunicate effectively with clinical teams to support smooth patient flowUphold City Fertility''s standards for privacy, safety, and professional conductWhat we are looking forExperience working in a clinical, healthcare, or theatre environment (or strong willingness to learn)Certificate in Theatre Technician preferred TAFE or Hospital Course CertificateAbility to follow established procedures with attention to detail and reliabilityStrong time-management skills and ability to prioritise in a fast-paced settingClear, respectful communication skills aligned with compassionate patient careCommitment to infection control, WHS standards, and teamworkWhy Join City FertilityAt City Fertility, you''ll join a progressive, people-centred organisation that values innovation, integrity, and impact.
