This role is part of our Facilities, Waste and Infrastructure team, where every day offers an opportunity to make a positive impact across our municipality.About The RoleYou will work as part of a responsive and communityfocused team responsible for maintaining a clean, welcoming and safe environment across our shopping precincts and public spaces. The role requires regular walking throughout the day, often covering the full length of activity centres and commercial precincts, with distances of up to ten (10) kilometres per day and you will also be required to travel between sites as required. Furthermore, you will engage with internal teams, traders, residents and public authorities to ensure service needs are met with professionalism and care, ensuring your work reflects Council''s values of customer focus, integrity, collaboration, innovation, respect and ownership.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will contribute to the delivery of timely and effective maintenance and cleansing services across Council precincts, ensuring public areas are presented to a high standard. You will support operational efficiency by responding to service requests, addressing issues raised by traders and residents, and escalating matters when required. You will help maintain a safe working environment by following established procedures, reporting hazards promptly and participating in health and safety initiatives. By representing Council with professionalism and taking pride in the appearance of shared spaces, you will help deliver an outstanding community experience.About YouYou bring a positive attitude, strong customer focus and a willingness to work collaboratively in an outdoor, handson environment.
