Now is a great time to join us!The RoleYou will work closely with our community to contribute to the strategic development, implementation and review of community facilities, in line with the City''s Community Hub and Precincts Strategy (currently in development), to ensure equitable participation and access for the community.Key Responsibilities Of The Role IncludeContribute to the development and facilitation of project planning, delivery and evaluationProvide recommendations about the future need for community infrastructure by collecting and analysing financial and planning data, community consultation and usageProactively engage with a range of stakeholders and working collaboratively to achieve organisational and community outcomesReview, update and develop policies and prepare project proposals, funding submissions, consultancy briefs and partnership and licence agreementsThis is a parttime position (up to 9 days a fortnight) with flexibility in days and hours worked.We currently have advertised a Community Strengthening Officer Community Halls position, further details available on our website.About YouYou will be a capable and experienced community development practitioner with a demonstrated commitment to assets (strengths) based community development principles.
