Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Bunbury, WA CJD EquipmentBunbury, WA, AUHeavy Vehicle Mechanic Bunbury, WACJD Equipment has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and talented Heavy Vehicle Mechanic specialising in Road Transport, to join the team at our Bunbury Branch.CJD Equipment is an industry leader in its field and offers job stability, a competitive wage with regular overtime available and the added bonus of being home every night!This role will also provide you with the opportunity to work with world-class products such as Kenworth & DAF Trucks, and play a key part in the supervision, mentoring, and development of apprentices.A day on the job will see you:Carry out diagnosis and troubleshooting procedures relating to mechanical failures in professional and timely manner in accordance with the manufacture''s recommendationsEnsure all records kept are legible and in compliance with established procedures.Ensure all parts and materials required to perform assigned services are pre ordered whenever possible and all parts and materials not used are returnedUsing computer-based service diagnostics and utilising your knowledge of partsMaintaining exceptional standards of safety and quality workmanshipLiaise and maintain clear and professional communications with internal and external customers.Providing an excellent service to our valued customersPromote a culture of team collaboration in line with CJD''s valuesRequired Qualifications & ExperienceRelevant trade certificate as a HV MechanicIndustry experience working with Kenworth and DAF Trucks, Cummins experience or alikeMC or HR Truck and Forklift License preferredAir-con ticket an advantageA commitment to safety in the workplace for you and your teammatesExperience utilising computer-based service diagnostic programs and parts cataloguesAbility to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screeningPrevious supervision experience is welcomeWhat we offerPay: Competitive wage + regular overtime available + penalty ratesFactory led training: From providers such as PACCAR & DAF, Cummins, EatonPersonal career development: CJD encourages career development!
