About the roleMater Cancer Care Centre is currently seeking an experienced Cancer Nurse to step into the Cancer Care Coordinator role in a maximum term for 12 months until April 2027, part-time capacity 16 hours a week.Salary range: $66.85 - $72.58 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!What you''ll be doingAs the Cancer Care Coordinator within the MCCC, you will be responsible for the supervision and coordination of the patient''s cancer journey (for public patients) receiving care at MCCC and during their inpatient admissions to Mater Hospital Brisbane. Engaging directly with the patient to assist in planning and navigating their treatment pathways, coordinating supportive care, nursing support, referral to required services and planning patient centered care.In this role, you will act as the central point of contact for Mater medical oncology patients throughout their treatment. You will oversee the coordination of essential support services, ensuring patients progress safely and confidently through each stage of care.
