Participant Engagement Officers Call CentreAdd expected salary to your profile for insightsCMAX is Australia''s longest running and most experienced clinical trial unit, operating for more than 30 years, conducting successful world-leading research for local and international clients, specialising in a range of early-phase trials and first-in-human studies.CMAX is a 78-bed clinical trials unit, with a database of more than 60,000 clinical trial participants, and utilising state-of-the-art facilities, positioned opposite the Royal Adelaide Hospital and part of the Adelaide BioMed City precinct.About the role:CMAX is seeking Participant Engagement Officers to work for at least 4 days on a casual basis Monday to Friday during business hours. This role involves supporting our Participant Engagement Team as per the responsibilities below.Reporting to the Participant Engagement Coordinator and Marketing and Engagement Manager the successful person will be responsible for:Working with the Participant Engagement Team to recruit volunteers wishing to participate in clinical studies conducted at CMAX;Spending significant time communicating with existing and prospective volunteers on the phone and email;Phone screening both in and outbound calls for prospective volunteers, booking appointments and database updating;Admin work i.e. maintaining and updating the recruitment database, filing various paperwork;Occasional face to face interactions with participants at the clinic helping them through the administrative process;Front desk cover of the Participant Concierge, including greeting and directing volunteers, answering telephones, verifying participant identification and printing appropriate paperwork.About you:Be an enthusiastic self-starter with a can-do attitude;Have proven phone skills with at least 12 months of recent experience in a call centre;Possess an ability to clearly communicate effectively with healthy volunteers, patients, and health care professionals and be fluent in English with phone skills;Proven excellent attention to detail;Have experience in the use of Microsoft Office programs;Be willing and able to work alone and with the Participant Engagement team;Feel comfortable in speaking to volunteers over the phone about sensitive medical conditions.Ideal candidates must be able to work flexible hours between 8 AM to 5 PMThis opportunity will suit those with experience in customer service, sales, receptionist/admin role or the call centre industry or healthcare and/or nursing background will be a great advantage.If you are looking for a challenging and exciting opportunity, then please apply by attaching your application letter and CV via the Apply Now function.
