Reporting to the Materials Manager this position requires a storeperson who at the completion of their training is responsible for the warehousing and storage of goods in a safe manner and in accordance with supply and demand. The role requires a proactive approach to safety and adherence to our Safety Culture behaviours.This role would receive shifts that are across the span of hours Monday to Friday 6:30am-3:00pm.This role pays a competitive casual of pay.Key responsibilities will also include:Receive, process and dispatch goodsMonitor stock levels including, receiving and unloading stockPicking orders of stock and delivering to the relevant team within the hospitalRecord incoming and outgoing of goodsApply product informationSafely operate a forklift and pallet jackClean premises and equipmentAdhere to health, safety and security proceduresOther duties as requestedTo be successful in the role you will need:To be physically fit and reliableHard working with capacity to fulfil lifting requirements of the positionHave strong administrative and communication skillsAn ability to work as part of a team but also autonomouslyA flexible approach and attitude towards workIn line with the required Legislation, a current criminal record check and staff health clearance will be required as part of the standard recruitment and selection process for this position.
