Our ConsMin Australian operation (Woodie Woodie) is based in the WA Pilbara, 407kms south-east of Port Hedland. Enjoy a short two-hour flight direct to our well-equipped camp and mining operation - only a five-minute drive from Woodie airport.Description: This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the deployment and implementation of a Fleet Management System (FMS), WencoMine, at our Woodie Woodie site. We are currently recruiting for Mine Controllers to act as the central coordinators for real-time mining operations, using WencoMine to optimise equipment assignments and material movements to meet production targets. This role will suit a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic Fly-In-Fly-Out (FIFO) mining environment.ResponsibilitiesMonitor and manage the mining fleet in real-time using WencoMine FMS, assigning tasks, tracking equipment, and ensuring accurate data capture for production reporting.Configure shift models, perform system checks, and troubleshoot issues to maintain system integrity.Optimise mining activities by coordinating with operators, supervisors and other department stakeholders, adjusting routes, and responding to delays or breakdowns to minimise idle time.Participate in safety meetings, emergency drills, and compliance checks, ensuring all fleet movements align with site protocols.Update and maintain accurate FMS data, using reports and KPIs (haul cycles and equipment utilisation) to optimise mining operations.Collaborate with mining production supervisors and support teams to implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mining operations or FMS preferred.3+ years of experience in mine control activities or mining dispatch services.Proficiency in Wencomine preferred, experience with MineStar, Modular or other similar FMS systems are acceptable.Strong computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.Understanding of mining safety standards.Ability to work FIFO at a remote location.Applicants must be able to pass a full pre-employment medical, provide a clean NPC, dated within the last 6 months (or able to obtain) and provide valid references.In return ConsMin offersCompetitive salary available + $15k site allowance + benefitsGrowth and development opportunities through Study AssistanceEmployee benefits including discounted health insurance, salary sacrificing options and hotel discounts.Comfortable permanent rooms, excellent recreational facilities and a welcoming site cultureConsMin seek to recruit individuals who are aligned with our core Values of Dedication, Teamwork, Simplicity, Excellence and Innovation.Short listing for this position will be commencing immediately, to submit your application please hit the ''apply now'' button below. #J-18808-Ljbffr
