Overview Melbourne This is a great opportunity to progress in your sales career and earn the potential to move into business development manager, foreign exchange dealing, or other opportunities within a global leader in international foreign exchange, payments and risk management.Sales Development Representative Melbourne This is a great opportunity to progress in your sales career and earn the potential to move into business development manager, foreign exchange dealing, or other opportunities within a global leader in international foreign exchange, payments and risk management.The RoleYou will work closely with our Senior BDMs to proactively identify and contact new prospects from multiple sources including databases, events, and partnerships to determine their requirements and arrange qualified appointments for our Senior BDMs. This role is based in Convera''s modern Melbourne office, with flexibility to also work from home.Confidence to make outbound calls to identify, qualify and set appointments for our Senior Business Development ManagersDirectly prospect new opportunities by using sales enablement tools such as Salesforce.com and ZoomInfoAchieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as revenue and appointment setting targetsWork closely with the Senior Business Development managers, Industry leads and Head of Sales to prospect new and existing contactsManage the lead allocation pipeline to the sales team on a daily basisUse commercial awareness to demonstrate and promote ideal solutions for potential clientsYou Should Apply If You HaveExperience in a sales role, ideally with outbound callingExperience across any industry is acceptable, with bonus emphasis on financial services, recruitment, media, insurance, telecoms or NFP sectorsKnowledge of or experience in B2B payments or FX is highly desirableStrong organizational skills and effective time managementExperience with Microsoft Office Suite and sales tools such as SalesforceProfessional telephone mannerResilient, motivated, with a tenacious and competitive mindset to succeedMany previous incumbents in this role at Convera have been promoted to BDM, Dealing or Relationship Manager roles; the same is expected for youAbout ConveraConvera is a global leader in commercial payments that powers international business by moving money with ease.
