OverviewYour new company is an Australian owned and operated company with over two decades of operations here in Australia. Due to recent upgrades and expansions, they are currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join their team on a fixed afternoon shift roster.RoleIn your role as the Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for responding to machinery breakdowns as well as carrying out preventative maintenance and upgrades. Working alongside production to ensure maximum machine uptime around repairs/breakdowns/upgrades. You will also have involvement in new machinery installation projects.RequirementsThe successful candidate will ideally have:Relevant trade qualificationsIdeally 3 + years of experience working as a maintenance fitterIdeally experience within a FMCG or manufacturing environmentThose with any relevant additional certificates or tickets will be highly desirableStrong H+S attitudeRewardsIn return you will be rewarded with a high hourly rate and will enjoy working in a new air-conditioned factory.
