Job Location:OverviewOur network of regional workshops support our clients to maximise the efficiency, productivity and safety of their operations.The success of our operations is founded on a team based approach to projects and you will have the opportunity to work together with, and support a range of qualified tradespeople to be successful on all projects.ResponsibilitiesAs a Trades Assistant you will play a key role in CPC''s construction and maintenance by:Assisting tradespeople in their activities and duties across a wide range of areas including boiler-making, fitting, scaffolding and general labouring dutiesPerforming scheduled maintenance, where requiredCarrying out designated tasks as outlined by your manager, supervisor, leading-hand or other tradespeopleYou will also drive the maintenance of a safe and healthy workplace.Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience in an engineering or mining environmentYear 10 or equivalent schoolingMechanical trade assistant experienceA level of proficiency in a range of maintenance activitiesAbility to work autonomously or as part of a teamAble to pass Medical and Drug & Alcohol testsPractical communication and team building abilitiesRelevant computer literacyAbility to work in remote locationsCurrent WA drivers'' license.
