DescriptionApplicants must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid visa with work rights in Australia.As an Athletic Physiotherapist, you''ll work closely with our high-performance rehabilitation team to deliver outstanding care and support athletes on their journey back to sport.About the RoleIn this flexible, part-time and hands-on role, you''ll assist in the assessment, treatment, and progression of athletes recovering from injury, while also providing rehab coaching support on the gym floor under the guidance of the Head of Athletic Rehabilitation.This role is perfect for a new graduate or a physiotherapist seeking part-time hours who wants to grow in a supportive environment that values learning, teamwork, flexibility, and strong communication. You''ll be guided through our rehab systems and provided ongoing mentorship to help you develop toward senior-level capability over time.Must be AHPRA registered.LOCATIONS: Pakenham & WarragulKey Style & Character TraitsYou care deeply about helping athletes feel supported, understood, and confident and you enjoy building strong, trusting relationships.You take pride in progress and outcomes - in your athletes and in your own development - and love contributing to a positive, team-first environment.You believe exercise is medicine, and you''re confident (or excited to learn) in delivering value on the gym floor as well as on the treatment table.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with athlete screening, assessments, and handover reportsConduct follow-up rehab consults and support athletes through their programsMaintain accurate written and filmed medical records in our secure systemContribute to the development and progression of rehab programsHelp define exit criteria for post-surgical athletes and support their transition into performance trainingConduct Return to Run (RTR) and Return to Contact (RTC) sessions on the fieldBuild strong relationships with athletes, parents, coaches and club networksParticipate in projects, education sessions and professional development opportunitiesGenerate referrals from team sport relationships to support the growth of the rehab program.Essential RequirementsFirst Aid CertificateCurrent Provide/Perform CPRSports Medicine / Physio / Allied Health DegreeNational Police / Criminal History CheckWorking with Children / Working with Vulnerable People CheckDrivers LicenceCurrent Registration with AHPRAAustralian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid visa with work rights in Australia.AttachmentsCR S&C - Athletic Physiotherapist. #J-18808-Ljbffr
