Nurse Manager Quality and Consumer SafetyPlease note: This vacancy is located in Northern Tasmania, AustraliaThe Team:The Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Quality and Consumer Safety team is a small statewide team providing safety and quality governance and support to Community Mental Health and Wellbeing services, such as Ambulance Tasmania, Oral Health Services Tasmania, Child Health and Parenting Service and Public Health. The team provides consult and advice on a range of quality and safety functions and process, such as incident & risk management, accreditation preparedness, consumer feedback and quality improvement.The Role:Provides high level leadership and direction in the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of patient safety and risk processes, accreditation and quality systems for Community, Mental Health and Wellbeing (CMHW).Provides high-level advice to CMHW Services relating to patient safety systems and risk management, including the development of policy, planning, service development and performance reporting.This position will work to the direction of the Director Quality and Consumer Safety.You will need:High level experience and knowledge in quality and safety systems, particularly risk and incident management.A working knowledge of a range of accreditation standards, such as NSQHS, Primary and Community Care Standards and NDIS.Demonstrated ability to utilise contemporary health information technology, analyse information and provide reports and recommendations.Individuals will demonstrate capability to provide the team with a clear direction, inspire a positive attitude and a desire to succeed in staff members at all levels, and will persuade others and influence outcomes (internally and externally).Individuals will have demonstrated advanced communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills and an ability to liaise on complex issuesNote: Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.Details of appointment:Permanent, full time, day worker position, working 76hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. The position can be located statewide.*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.$126,036 to $132,932 per annum.
