We are looking for people who are ethical, proactive and can communicate exceptionally well to work across our accommodation and community disability services.WE REALLY LISTENWe support choice, decision making and acknowledge different communication styles by individually matching the right participant with the right support worker.IN YOUR ROLE YOU WILL NEED TO:Bring positive energy to support participants to achieve their desired goals and to be actively engaged in their home and community lifeBeing passionate about making a house a home by creating independence with tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry and gardeningUse empathy and patience to understand the participant''s needs and ensure their overall wellbeingAdminister medication and treatments according to the relevant support planDemonstrate dignity and respect for aspects of personal care and ensure that the participant''s personal hygiene and appearance is maintained at an acceptable level, appropriate to their age and chosen activity while engaging in activities in the communityCommunicate and engage with participants in a relevant and meaningful way while encouraging the participant to communicate and engage with othersTransport participants travelling to and from activities and outings using your own vehicle and/or Crosslinks modified pool vehiclesPromote NDIS Quality and Safeguarding to services we provide to our participantsWE ARE STRONGER TOGETHERBy working collaboratively, we develop our people and prepare for the future.
