The company operates a dedicated processing facility in Neerabup, WA, supporting onshore recycling and sustainable waste management outcomes for commercial and industrial clients across Western Australia.The business provides logistics and transport services as part of its recycling operations, requiring licensed and experienced truck drivers to safely transport tyres and recycled materials between client sites, CTS facilities, and approved destinations.Position overviewThe Truck Driver role supports CTS Tyre Recyclings day-to-day transport and logistics requirements. The position involves operating heavy vehicles on local and regional routes, ensuring loads are transported safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable safety and transport regulations.Key dutiesOperating heavy rigid (HR) and medium rigid (MR) vehicles as required for tyre and material transportPositioning vehicles safely for loading and unloading at client sites and CTS facilitiesLoading and unloading materials using approved lifting and handling equipment, including forklifts where requiredEnsuring loads are correctly distributed, restrained, covered, and secured in accordance with legal requirementsConducting pre-start, on-road, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthinessComplying with fatigue management requirements, Chain of Responsibility obligations, and road transport legislationMaintaining accurate logbooks, delivery documentation, and electronic recordsVerifying load documentation, checking the condition of goods, and obtaining proof of delivery or site certificationsFollowing all site safety procedures and environmental policiesAssisting with general yard, warehouse, and housekeeping duties as requiredSkills, experience, and requirementsValid Australian Heavy Rigid (HR) driver licenceExperience operating heavy vehicles within transport, logistics, recycling, or similar industriesSound knowledge of load restraint requirements and transport compliance standardsForklift licence and experience (preferred but not mandatory)Ability to safely perform manual handling tasks associated with loading and unloadingStrong safety awareness and reliable work practicesClear communication skills and ability to work effectively with supervisors and site personnelAbility to complete required paperwork and electronic records accuratelyReporting and work arrangementsReports to: Transport Supervisor / Operations ManagerStandard full-time hours, with day and afternoon shiftsLocal and regional routes, with regular return to base #J-18808-Ljbffr
