The role what is it we would like you to do?We are currently seeking Project Managers with experience in local government, education, seniors living, data centres, and logistics projects to be based in Melbourne. The successful candidates will contribute to project management assignments for Currie & Brown''s client, including managing client relationships, delivering high-quality services and assisting with financial management. This role requires motivated, skilled and experienced individuals with exceptional leadership skills.Your core duties will involve:Work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team to deliver project tasks.Manage projects in line with Currie & Brown guidelines and the Project Management Toolkit, ensuring all contractual requirements are met.Plan and deliver construction projects from concept through to completion.Prepare or assist in preparing site assessments, due diligence reports, cost reports, project control group reports, construction progress reports, and completion reports.Manage internal and external stakeholders, including consultants and contractors, to ensure effective communication and coordination.Oversee design development, coordination, reviews, and approvals during the planning and construction phases.Lead procurement management activities, including reviewing trade tender packages.Appoint and manage contractors while ensuring compliance with probity requirements.Administer contracts including evaluating progress claims, variations, extensions of time, and preparing related documentation.Monitor and manage completion activities such as commissioning, handover, takeover, and defect rectification.Develop and monitor project programmes, ensuring alignment with contractor schedules approved by the client.Track project costs against the approved budget and report any variances.Monitor and report on project performance against agreed timelines and deliverables.Liaise with local authorities to ensure all works are authorised and compliant as the project progresses.Ensure strict adherence to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards and regulations.Maintain a quality assurance system to achieve high standards in design, construction, and administration.Proactively seek opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and strengthen client relationships.What skills and attributes are we looking for from youDegree in a construction or engineering-related discipline such as construction management, M&E/civil engineering, architecture or project managementA minimum of 15 years'' experience in project managementProven experience managing construction projects across Local Government, Education, Seniors Living, Data Centre, and Logistics sectors.Experience leading a multidisciplinary team of consultants.Confidence in client reporting and chairing of meetings #J-18808-Ljbffr
