You will be responsible for pushing the Dabble platform forward through creativity, innovation, and strong UX and UI fundamentals. Reporting to the Head of User Experience, this role will work closely with the Product and Development teams to create and champion seamless, visually appealing, and highly functional experiences across the app.If you are passionate about creating the best possible experience for users in an innovative, fast paced, mobile-first environment, this role is for you!Primary LocationThis role is currently open to all locations within Australia, however candidates based in Melbourne may be preferred.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to explore, define and implement UX UI solutions and processes for product direction, visuals, and experience within the appPush the Dabble platform forward with innovative, awesome, and creative thinking that brings fun and simplicity to complex design problemsDefine and drive the end-to-end design process, leading initial discovery concepts to final hand-off to engineering teamsUnderstanding the Dabble platform at a high level, looking for optimization and uplift opportunities to stay up to date with current design and interaction trendsCreate and own wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and process flows, to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas and concepts to key stakeholders and peersLead user research processes to generate and present key insights, evaluating user feedback to continuously iterate and improve designsChampion and build upon design guidelines, best practices, and standards for the appLead by example, mentoring junior designers and contributing to the growth and positive culture of the Product Design teamSkills & QualificationsProven experience leading end-to-end design processes, with a strong portfolio demonstrating a history of innovative, creative and user-centered design solutions, focused on mobile appsMastery of design and prototyping tools such as Figma and PrincipalStrong knowledge of responsive design, mobile-first principles, and accessibility standardsExcellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interactionAbility to present and effectively communicate conceptual ideas and designs to team members and stakeholdersExperience in research practices and methodologies to gather user feedback and insightsExperience working in an Agile/Scrum development processStrong problem-solving skills, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skillsA degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related field is strongly preferredDress for your day so you can focus on what mattersSwitch up your office, work from home, work from wherever helps you to deliverGenuine, like-minded team of visionaries.
