Leading the Communications and Engagement Directorate, this role shapes the organisation''s public narrative, ensures high-quality and trusted messaging to government, stakeholders and the community, and plays a critical role in supporting the organisation through ongoing transformation, heightened public scrutiny and increasing environmental and climate-related challenges. The Director will bring clarity to a newly evolving operating model, lift standards, and build a strong, collaborative culture across central and place-based teams.The successful candidate will be a senior communications or engagement leader with experience operating in complex, government or public sector environments. You will bring sound judgement, confidence operating at executive and board level, and the ability to quickly get across detail while maintaining a strategic, whole-of-organisation perspective.
