You''ll be at the centre of our plan management function supporting clients, providers, and internal teams, and keeping payments, records, and processes running smoothly.You''ll be the trusted link between clients, service providers, and our Finance team, delivering high-quality, inclusive financial support that helps people connect, participate, and thrive.We''re offering a permanent, part-time role (30 hours per week) The role is based in our stunning South Bank office, where you can enjoy our hybrid model core office days (TuesdayThursday) with the option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays.About the role:Working closely with the Plan Management Team Lead and the wider Finance team, you''ll be at the heart of high-quality plan management coordinating payments, supporting clients and providers, and keeping financial processes running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable managing detail in a busy, high-volume environment, values collaboration, and wants to make a meaningful impact through their work.Main responsibilities of the role include:Manage day-to-day NDIS plan management, including processing claims and payments, maintaining service agreements, and updating client funding detailsBe a key point of contact for clients and providers, responding to enquiries and helping resolve payment questions with care and professionalismYou''ll support the Finance team with accounts receivable and accounts payable, helping process invoices, payments, and reconciliations to keep our finances running smoothlyPitch in where needed contributing to continuous improvement, safe work practices, and a positive, collaborative team environmentAbout you:In your application, let us know if you have these key skills and experience:Experience using PlanAbility or similar NDIS Plan Management softwareClear written and verbal communication skills and a customer-focused approachUnderstanding of the NDIS and community/not-for-profit sectorStrong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasksAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamA professional approach to handling confidential informationPlease also let us know if you have the following nice-to-haves:Auslan skills or willingness to learnQualifications or experience in finance, payroll, or customer serviceExperience with accounts payable/receivable, payroll, or systems such as D365 and ELMO/PayMetricsAbout Us:Deaf Connect is the largest, whole-of-life service provider and social impact organisation for Deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing Australians.
