Our specialised P&C Policy and Privacy team works closely with the rest of our agency''s People & Culture division and a broad range of other business units across DCS to drive change and innovation and to ensure alignment with legislative requirements in the areas of HR and WHS organisational policy governance. Additionally, this team acts as the People & Culture privacy leads to ensure compliance with legislative requirements around privacy of the personal information of our agency''s 12,000 staff.This role will assist with a mixture of day-to-day work in P&C policy and privacy advisory and programs such as HR and WHS policy development and privacy audit for a team that plays a crucial role in fostering positive workplace culture within the Department. This opportunity will allow you to bring your exceptional organisational skills to support programs of work in the P&C policy and privacy space.Your day to dayProvide program and operational support, including monitoring and progress reporting, milestones and deliverables, to ensure timely, quality and effective delivery of resultsUpdate and collate documentation and records regarding relevant issues, policies and practices to ensure the delivery of projects complies with agreed timeframes and business rulesUndertake basic research and analysis in assigned program areas and contribute to the preparation of development plans to support informed decision making and planningAssist the team to complete tasks and implement project plans to ensure agreed outcomes are achievedCommunicate with relevant stakeholders to provide updates regarding work status and implementation issuesProvide a range of administrative services, including coordinating meetings and preparing papers, to support delivery of workAssist with P&C privacy team reporting and scheduling, including broader education and awareness activities, with support from other team membersAbout YouTo be successful in this role you will possess a great blend of skills, including:A general understanding of People & Culture functions such as HR Business Partnership, Recruitment, Industrial Relations, Safety, Workers Compensation and/or Recover at Work.Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.A collaborative and proactive approach with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and also work independently.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), MS Teams, SharePoint is advantageous.We support and promote flexible working options and encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds to apply.About usDepartment of Customer Service (DCS) transforms the way NSW Government agencies interact with customers.
