OverviewThe Team: Be part of a small dynamic team working closely with the multidisciplinary team in the Day Procedure Unit at the Launceston General Hospital.The RoleThe successful applicant would be responsible for:Providing and maintaining efficient admission services to the Launceston General Hospital (LGH).Provide effective and efficient communication, administrative, and clerical support to medical and nursing staff within the Day Procedure Unit (DPU) LGH, and the community.Ensure all information management which occurs is in keeping with the requirements as set down for confidentiality within applicable legislation, guidelines, and protocols.You will needPrevious demonstrated high level knowledge and experience in the management of waiting lists related to gastroenterology, radiology and medical day procedures.Excellent demonstrated interpersonal and communication skillsHigh level problem solving, time management and the ability to work autonomously.Note: Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.Why TasmaniaThe Department of Health Tasmania oversees various hospitals across the state, including the Royal Hobart Hospital, Launceston General Hospital, Northwest Regional Hospital, and Mersey Community Hospital, as well as district hospitals and ambulance services.
