Assist and support the executive legal secretary with effective training and coaching of legal secretaries to ensure that quality services are provided.Your Key Responsibilitieshigh level, accurate word processing and typingcomplex formatting of documents (i.e. Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and PDF documents)prepare briefs and documents and attend to routine correspondencemonitor and manage the flow of incoming and outgoing correspondencetravel and accommodation coordinationinformation management (i.e. Excel spreadsheets, practice management system, case management system (Visualfiles) databases)diary management (appointments, etc.) organise meetings, conferences etc prepare and distribute agendas, minutes and other materialprepare, check and action a range of reportsmaintain filing, records bring-up and retrieval systemsassist legal professionals to meet financial deadlines and/or commitments e.g. billing and time recordingensure compliance with procedures for payment of legal expenses and counsel feesconsultation and liaison with internal and external clients and other stakeholders on various matters including confidential and sensitive issuestraining, coaching and developing legal secretariesensure services are completed in a timely and professional mannerassist with assessing the correct accrual and application of TOIL, recreation leave, sick leave and other leave, identifying and escalating any issues as they arise.provide advice and training on the general operations of the team, branch and whole of practice, processes, procedures relating to legal secretarial work, finance, information technology and other corporate processes and functionsutilise effective communication skills and problem-solving skills to communicate and address any problems that may arise to resolve issuessupport the executive legal secretary to identify opportunities to adapt and change work processes and assist with the development of guidelines or effective methods to achieve consistently high secretarial and administrative standards within the teamreceive client feedback and address and implement service improvement activitiesassist with the recruitment, employment, training and induction of new secretarial support staffassist with the induction of new staff within the legal team, including the coordination of information technology, telecommuting needs, telephone requirements and personnel requirementsundertake other duties as required relating to the requirements of the operational areaWhy Join Crown Law?Crown Law Offers a Career That Is Rewarding, Engaging And Supportive Of Your Work Life Balance.
