Postcodes covered include: CR, BR, GU, RG, PO, and SO. To be considered, you must have a full UK driving licence and reside within this region, as completing customer visits will be an integral part of your role.Reporting directly to the Field Manager you''ll:Conduct field visits to support customers, including those in vulnerable situations and ad-hoc casesReview digital evidence submitted via our online claims portalRepresent DLG during surge events using our Surge Support Vehicle, supporting PR opportunities identified by the Press OfficeTake ownership of Home, SME & Commercial claims, including complex or high-value cases under supervision when above authorityDeliver outstanding customer service, helping to achieve market-leading Net Promoter ScoresSupport Disaster Restoration and Recovery teams by validating field claims and ensuring cost-effective indemnity solutionsRecommend optimal settlement routes, using supply chain options where appropriateSupport complaint resolution by facilitating field visits and handling informal complaints directlyDetermine and advise on rectification works, acting as a technical point of contact for scope variationsCarry out investigations to assist with potential subrogated recoveriesCollaborate with Operational teams and offer guidance to office-based claims handlersProvide technical support to Area Managers and help maintain relationships with the Home Repair NetworkAdhere to compliance and regulatory standards, including Consumer Duty, GDPR, policy cover, indemnity, and reservingTrack and deliver on key business metrics and risk responsibilities within the DLG risk frameworkContinuously develop your own technical expertise and knowledge of insurance practicesWhat you''ll needProven experience in field-based loss adjusting across Home, SME, and Commercial property claimsStrong understanding of insurance principles, policy interpretation, and coverage assessmentExcellent knowledge of buildings and contents quantum and current construction methodsConfident in creating repair propositions and negotiating settlementsLocated in and/or around the London area, as this is where your customers will be based and your on-site visits will take placeFull UK driving licence and flexibility to travel as requiredBenefitsWe recognise we wouldn''t be where we are today without our colleagues, that''s why we offer excellent benefits designed to suit your lifestyle:9% employer contributed pensionAnnual company bonus of up to 10%Company car50% off home, motor and pet insurance, plus Green Flag breakdown coverAdditional optional Health and Dental insuranceEV car scheme allows all colleagues to lease a brand new electric or plug-in hybrid car in a tax efficient wayGenerous holidaysBuy as you earn share schemeEmployee discounts and cashbackPlus, many moreWe want everyone to get the most out of their time at DLG.
