OverviewWe are hiring Environmental Services Assistant to work across our housekeeping services at Donvale Rehabilitation Hospital. This role involves providing the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the rehabilitation facility and being part of a team focused on quality patient care.ResponsibilitiesMaintaining high standards of cleanliness to all areas, including wards and therapy spacesEnsuring all equipment utilised on shifts is cleaned, restocked and stored in the appropriate storage areaWorking in a friendly and supportive manner at all timesMaintaining communication networks with nursing staff and Allied Health Professionals to ensure quality clinical outcomes for patientsEnsure the highest standards of infection control are maintained and within safe operating proceduresVaried shifts available with start times ranging from 7:00 am, 8:30 am, 3:00 pm and 6:00 pmSkills and ExperiencePrevious experience in a hospital environment is helpful but not essentialExcellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focusCompliance with HACCP, Workplace Health and Safety and Infection ControlExperience in cleaning servicesTeam player who can work within a team and autonomouslyAttention to detail and pride in workmanshipRemunerationBase Hourly Rates of $26.64 + Casual Loading + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.About UsDonvale Rehabilitation Hospital is a state-of-the-art 91-bed facility providing inpatient and day rehabilitation services in Melbourne''s eastern suburbs.What''s in it for you?Professional Advancement: Recognition, Rewards, Professional Development, and Employee referral programs.
