In this pivotal role, you will oversee the delivery of exceptional cleaning services across a variety of commercial sites, ensuring that every task is completed safely, professionally, and to the highest industry standards.You''ll be part of something truly meaningful supporting people with disability to develop workplace skills while contributing to Orana''s trusted commercial cleaning services.About the RoleAs a Commercial Cleaning Supervisor, you will:Operate both independently and as part of a collaborative team.Supervise commercial cleaning operations to meet client expectations and compliance standards.Monitor service quality and proactively manage risks and hazards.Support and mentor Orana''s supported employees to build skills and achieve success in their roles.Provide handson leadership, ensuring smooth operations and timely task completion.Drive a culture of safety, inclusion, teamwork, and continuous improvement.What You''ll Be DoingProvide daily support and leadership to cleaning teams, including supported employees.Allocate tasks efficiently to ensure smooth workflows and full site coverage.Train and supervise staff in correct cleaning techniques, safety, and hygiene protocols.Build and sustain a positive team culture.Operational ExcellenceOversee commercial cleaning and light production tasks, ensuring highquality results. Support skills development through onthejob coaching and mentoring. Maintain productivity benchmarks while meeting customer expectations.Safety & ComplianceEnsure strict adherence to WHS standards and cleaning industry regulations.Monitor the safe use of equipment and immediately report safety risks or maintenance needs.Maintain compliance with NDIS, disability support, and commercial cleaning requirements.Quality Control & ImprovementConduct regular quality checks and recommend service improvements.Maintain equipment to ensure readiness and reliability.Support operational enhancements to drive customer satisfaction and service consistency.What You''ll Need to SucceedSelfmotivation, reliability, and a professional, clientfocused approach.Excellent communication and organisational skills.A strong understanding of safe work practices and cleaning protocols.Ability to supervise and motivate others, including people with disability.Physically fit to meet the demands of the role.Flexible and adaptable with a cando attitude.Desirable Qualifications and ExperienceCertificate III in Commercial Cleaning or equivalent (desirable but not essential).Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or leadership role.Familiarity with AS/NZS 3760:2010 standards and WHS principles.Experience in the disability sector (highly regarded).Valid First Aid and CPR certification.Current NDIS Worker Check.National Police Clearance (within 3 years).DHS Working with Children Clearance.Current unrestricted Driver''s Licence and willingness to travel regionally if required.Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.Willingness to work outside normal business hours if needed.Why Work with Orana?At Orana, we''re passionate about creating opportunities for people with disability.
