Due to an increase in demand of their services, our client is looking for a licenced Plumber to join their team.Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and licenced Plumber to join our clients team. The role includes water main & storm water system installation on our large civil construction sites in both NSW and Victoria, usually within 45 minutes of Albury. Civil experience is preferred but not essential. Successful candidate should be prepared to undertake general civil labouring duties when required. This role requires a keen eye for detail, technical expertise, and the ability to work efficiently in a safety-conscious and team-oriented environment.Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation & Repair: Setting up and fixing pipes for water supply, gas, sewage, and storm water on new sites or repairing existing infrastructure.System Integration: Working with large diameter pipes, valves, fittings, and associated equipment for mains and reticulation.Site Work: Excavating trenches, laying and joining pipes, back filling, and managing materialsBlueprint Interpretation: Reading and following complex plans for plumbing layouts and system requirements.Testing & Compliance: Inspecting and pressure-testing systems for leaks and ensuring all work meets strict plumbing codes and WH&S (Work Health & Safety) standards.Collaboration: Working alongside other trades and management.Maintenance: Maintain, repair and performing trouble shooting testing where required.Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, protocols, and PPE requirements. Ensure the work area is safe, clean, and organised.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of material usage and work completed.Qualifications and SkillsProven experience as a licensed plumber in civil construction environments.Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and blueprintsExperience with civil aspects of plumbing including operating power tools, and measuring instruments.Good understanding of metal properties and welding codes and standards.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Knowledge of safety practices and regulations.Physical stamina and the ability to work in challenging conditions.Education and CertificationHigh school diploma or equivalentTechnical certifications in plumbing.WHS White CardAdditional specialist training is highly desirable.Work EnvironmentThe position may involve working in challenging environments such as construction and quarry sites.Ability to work with heavy machinery and tools.BenefitsFull time, permanent position with a competitive salary package on offer.
