Project Delivery Manager - GRC & Cloud implementationOur client is a leading scientific and engineering-based organisation and is now seeking an experienced Project Delivery Manager to lead the implementation of a third-party cloud-hosted enterprise application, replacing a legacy on-premise system.This role is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of the solution, including transition planning, data migration, governance approvals, and operational handover. The position operates within a highly regulated environment, with strong emphasis on governance, risk management, assurance, compliance, and incident management. This is a delivery and governance role and does not include application development responsibilities.Key responsibilitiesLead and manage the end-to-end delivery of a vendor-hosted cloud solution in accordance with organisational and government delivery frameworksPlan and oversee system transition activities, including data extraction, migration, validation, and cutoverEnsure compliance with established PMO, ICT governance, and assurance requirements, including:Risk and issue managementFinancial and budget oversightResource and capacity managementSchedule management and reportingPrepare, manage, and obtain approval for required ICT and enterprise artefacts supporting project stage gates and investment approvalsCoordinate internal ICT teams, business areas, and external vendors to ensure delivery outcomes are achievedEngage effectively with stakeholders across governance, risk, assurance, compliance, and incident management functionsProvide accurate and timely reporting to executive stakeholders and internal PMO functionsEnsure delivery milestones and mandated reporting deadlines are metAbout youYou will demonstrate:10+ years'' experience in application or ICT project delivery roles within complex, regulated environmentsProven experience delivering third-party cloud services into large organisations or government entitiesStrong understanding of governance, risk and compliance (GRC) concepts, terminology, frameworks, and lines of defenceDemonstrated ability to deliver business-critical systems where implementation is overdue and organisational change is significantExperience working within formal ICT PMO and assurance frameworksHighly developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage at General Manager and Executive levelStrong stakeholder and vendor management capabilityA structured, disciplined approach to delivery, risk management, and governance complianceDesirableExperience in government, financial services, utilities, or other regulated industriesExperience managing projects subject to audit and external assurance reviewsHow to applySubmit your application, including a current CV in MS Word outlining your relevant experience.Unlock job insightsSalary match Number of applicants Skills matchYour application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years'' experience do you have as a Project Delivery Manager?What is your experience with cloudbased platforms, system integration, and GRC?What is your expected daily rate or salary range for this type of program leadership role?Notice period and location in Sydney?To help fast track investigation, please include here any other relevant details that prompted you to report this job ad as fraudulent / misleading / discriminatory / salary below minimum wage.Researching careers?
