This role works closely with the Chair and CEO to ensure the Board meets its legal and fiduciary obligations.Treasurer: The Treasurer is a Board Director with specific responsibility for financial oversight, risk and sustainability. You will support the Board and CEO to steward ECOMIND''s resources responsibly as we scale programs, partnerships and funding.Key Treasurer responsibilitiesProvide Board-level oversight of ECOMIND''s financial position, sustainability and riskSupport the CEO with financial planning, scenario analysis and funding strategySupport ACNC financial compliance and statutory reportingLiaise with external accountants as needed and support audit or review processesConnect ECOMIND with funding opportunitiesContribute to broader Board duties including strategy, risk and governanceKey Company Secretary responsibilitiesEnsure ECOMIND meets its statutory and regulatory obligationsSupport effective Board processes, including agendas, minutes and resolutionsMaintain governance documents, registers and Board policiesConnect ECOMIND with funding opportunitiesContribute as a full Board Director to strategy, risk and organisational oversightWho we are looking forExperience in finance, accounting, investment, risk, consulting or senior financial leadershipAbility to interpret financial reports and explain them clearly to non-financial stakeholdersExperience in governance, law, company secretarial work, policy or senior administrationStrong understanding of director duties and governance frameworks (or willingness to learn)Understanding of NFP governance, or willingness to learnValues alignment and interest in climate and mental health systems-changePrior board experience welcome but not requiredHow to applyPlease submit your application here.
