At EDL, we are playing a key role in the world''s transition from traditional energy sources to decarbonised solutions.ResponsibilitiesEnsure accurate inventory levels at EDL sites by supporting operations while keeping within required governance requirementsManage and assist with site stocktakes throughout Australia, including site visits or remote data entry and processingAssist in the development and processing of site Cycle Count ProcessesProactively work with Suppliers to ensure accuracy of EDL parts catalogue, including parts pricing, description, and obsolescenceUndertake assessment and processing of Stock Change Requests (Master Data Settings and New Item Creations), ensuring that effective inventory solutions are applied and cost controlled effectivelyRegular analysis of min/max settings and completing required adjustmentsMaintain close working relationship with the Asset team and assist with master data requirements from an asset point of viewIdentify opportunities for supplier consolidation or alternative, lower cost supply chainsInteract with internal customers to understand their local/operational requirements and provide accurate information/training about group processes and goalsUnderstand the Group procurement tools, templates and capability building initiatives and assist with their implementation and ongoing use across the businessAssist with training of EDL personnel in the use of the Inventory Management systemAdopt fair and ethical conduct in all dealings and comply with all company policies and procedures as amended from time to time and as directed by Managers/SupervisorsDemonstrate a personal commitment to EDL''s Safety & Environmental Programs, and Equal Employment Opportunity objectives, to ensure personal safety and the safety of others, a workplace free from discrimination and harassment and a philosophy of quality assurance and pollution preventionActively ensure own health and safety and the health and safety of others through understanding and implementing workplace health and safety obligationsMonitor and investigate supply and returns of rotable product to and from sites to ensure data integrity held in inventory systemsIn addition to the duties set out above, perform other duties as assigned from time to time by the CompanyPerson SpecificationHigh level of personal integrity and respect for ethical practicesAbility to travel interstate on a semi-regular basisAble to work in challenging environments including Hot & Dusty conditions and Mine Site AccommodationAbility to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, including senior management, support services, and operational teams, adapting communication style as appropriateSupply chain related management, governance, monitoring and reporting. Qualifications in Supply / Inventory Management will be highly regardedOrganisational and planning skills to manage supply chain related activities including policy, process and procedure and to work within agreed priorities and specified timeframesAdhere to and promote the business''s values and Code of Conduct and represent the organisation with integrity and professionalism, demonstrating personal drive, focus and energy to achieve key outcomes for the organisation and encourage these behaviours in othersQualifications and ExperienceEssentialPrevious Inventory Control experience (3-5 years)Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications at an intermediate levelExperience in ERP/MRP/WMS systems (3-5 years)Demonstrated understanding of the concept of customer service within a procurement environment particularly as it applies to EDLWorking knowledge Master Data best practice including cataloguing standardsRelevant qualifications or equivalent experience in spare parts / Rotables management or related disciplineKnowledge of relevant standards, legislation, guidelines, principles and practices applicable to Procurement policies, OH&SExcellent interpersonal and communication skills and strong customer focusDemonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and achieve targetsDesirableTertiary level qualifications relevant to the rolePrevious spares / Inventory Control experience (5-10 years)Interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate, lead and motivate others towards the achievement of objectivesExperience with Oracle FusionExperience with equipment used in Electrical GenerationRemote work and travel throughout Australia #J-18808-Ljbffr
