This role offers a high level of autonomy, where you will manage your own workflow based on the QC roster to ensure testing priorities are met. You will be a key point of contact for the production facility, providing critical guidance and support during night operations.Key ResponsibilitiesTesting & Analysis: Conduct routine and adhoc testing for starting materials, bulk intermediates, and finished products.Production Liaison: Act as the primary QC contact for the Manufacturing and Packing Hall, providing guidance and troubleshooting assistance.Laboratory Maintenance: Utilize wet chemistry and analytical instrumentation (HPLC, GC, UV) to ensure product quality.Collaboration: Work across shifts to share learnings and ensure consistent laboratory performance.Safety & Physical Tasks: Safely handle hazardous chemicals, move equipment (such as water trolleys or gas cylinders), and maintain an organized workspace.About YouEducation: A minimum of a Bachelor of Science with a strong Chemistry component (Essential).Technical Expertise: Knowledge of HPLC, GC, UV, and wet chemistry is highly advantageous (Desired).Industry Knowledge: Experience in a GMP/GLP environment, particularly within the Pharmaceutical or FMCG industry, is preferred.Communication: Proficient English skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) and the ability to communicate with a diverse range of personnel (Essential).Personal Attributes: You are a resilient multitasker who remains calm under pressure and possesses strong ethical values (Essential).Physical Capability: You are able to stand for extended periods, distinguish color variations for chemistry, perform physical tasks such as lifting boxes up to 16 kg or maneuvering drums (Essential).Eligibility: Australian work rights (PR, Citizen, or valid working visa) (Essential).Why Join Ego?At Ego Pharmaceuticals, we live by our values: Quality, People, Ethics, Innovation, Service, and Ego Spirit.
