With the support of the National HSE team you will be a leader in driving compliance, providing expert guidance, and implementing best practice safety initiatives across both client mine sites and company branches.This is a handson multifaceted role where you''ll play a key part in shaping a proactive safety culture and ensuring a safe working environment for all stakeholders.DutiesConduct regular mine site visits to ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures and legislative requirements and the provision of reports to our customersResponsible for providing advice to all stakeholders on all matters related to health, safety and the environment whilst ensuring compliance with all relevant legislationImplement and maintain safety protocols across the Perth branch and its warehouse operations by working closely with supervisors, technicians and managementIdentify, assess, and mitigate workplace risks through regular inspections, audits, and hazard reportingLead incident investigations by helping in the identification of root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrenceAssist with the facilitation of inhouse training in relation to OHS, health & wellbeing and legislation policy and procedure changesPromote a proactive safety culture across all levels of the organisation in line with the National safety approachAbout youMinimum Certificate IV in OH&SMinimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar or relevant roleTAE 40122 Trainer Assessor (desirable)Exposure to OHS reporting systems (MyOSH desirable)Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholdersStrong analytical skills to identify risks, implement solutions, and improve safety outcomesWorking knowledge of OH&S legislation, WA mining related legislation and industry best practicesWorking knowledge of the Work Health and Safety Act & Work Health and Safety Regulations (Mines) and similar legislation in other statesFlexibility to travel to mine sites (FIFO required)Have the right to work in AustraliaWhy Join Elastomers Australia?Impactful Role: Play a key part in driving safety across our operations.Supportive Environment: Join a collaborative team that values your expertise and ideas.Career Growth: Opportunities to expand your skills and grow within the organisation.Competitive Package: Attractive salary and benefits.Diversity & InclusionAt Elastomers Australia, diversity and inclusion are part of our DNA.
