OverviewEndeavour Group is seeking a Senior Android Developer to contribute to and grow our Android development capability. This role will be instrumental in driving the architecture, development, and maintenance of our mobile applications on the Android platform. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering leaders to ensure delivery of robust, user-centric mobile solutions. The role sits within the Retail Applications side of Digital & Data and reports to the Engineering Lead - Mobile.We value a positive energy and a sociable culture, and look for candidates who thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.ResponsibilitiesLead the development and technical direction of native Android applications, contributing actively to the Android codebase in Kotlin.Drive the technical architecture and modernization roadmap for the Android platform, ensuring long-term performance, scalability, and maintainability.Champion and implement robust automation and testing strategies (unit, integration, UI) to ensure high code quality and reliability.Perform code reviews and ensure best practices in software engineering and CI/CD are followed.Mentor and coach engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in technical practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align the technical roadmap with product goals.Stay current with industry trends and mobile technologies to guide innovation and strategic decision-making.What we need from youBachelor''s or Master''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.4+ years of mobile development experience, with at least 2+ years in Android development.Deep understanding of Android (Kotlin) ecosystems, SDKs, and design principles.
