Dorrien Estate Winery is one of Australia''s leading grape crushing and Winemaking facilities. With two sites located in the heart of the Barossa Valley, the winery also provides full winemaking and processing services to contract customers.About The RoleAs a Vineyard Operator, you will be responsible for day-to-day vineyard operations across the Dorrien Estate sites for the duration of Vintage. You will work closely with the Vineyard Manager and other operators, assisting with vineyard operations.What You''ll DoAll Tractor operations, including spraying, mowing, canopy management and harvest activities.Daily equipment cleaning, routine and preventative maintenanceCompliance and record keepingMaintenance of vineyard sites, including surrounds, facilities, and reservesActive OH&S and continuous improvement participation through safety meetings, toolboxes, and inspectionsWhat we need from youMust be fully available for the duration of Vintage (Feb - May)Previous experience in vineyard operations, or related agricultural experienceTractor driving experienceCurrent Forklift License is essentialFlexibility to adapt to different work environments and vineyard sitesWilling to work shift-work, long hours and weekends for the duration of vintageCan work autonomously and problem solve as requiredAble to safely lift and carry heavy items, and drive for extended periods, including on rough terrainCan work as part of a team and contribute to a positive team cultureWhat''s in it for you?Exceptional onboarding and training program to set you up for success, with ongoing support available from leaders and peersAn exclusive discount card for Dan Murphy''s, BWS and other Endeavour Group brands including ALH pubs not to mention discounts from Woolworths and Big W.
