Working closely with national and global research partners, we design and conduct high impact studies across a broad range of including oncology, cardiology, diabetology, nephrology, neonatal and perinatal health, and respiratory disease. If you bring a can do attitude and are excited to take on a new challenge, we encourage you to apply.The Clinical Trial Project Manager will lead a team and manage clinical trials and research projects across one or more therapeutic areas.This position reports to the Clinical Trials Program Manager and has direct reports.Your key responsibilities will be to:provide oversight and direction on multiple clinical trials across one or more of the clinical research programs, proactively managing the trial operations from start-up to close-outwork collaboratively with the stakeholders including research collaborators, funders, vendors, the project team and relevant internal specialist groups, including, Quality &, Biomarker Research, Clinical Data Systems, Statistics and Clinical Data Management, other Clinical Trial Project Managers and the CTC Senior Leadership Teamline manage team members to foster high-performing teams and ensure Personal and Professional Development (PPD) practices are adoptedlead and promote process improvement to encourage quality and efficiency and contribute to Centre-wide strategic initiativesdevelop and manage project budgets and oversee contracts with vendors, collaborators and sitesAbout youpostgraduate qualification or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and relevant experience; or equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/trainingextensive relevant working experience in project management or coordination of clinical trials and other research projectsfinancial management experience and literacy, experience in managing budgets and overseeing income and expenditureknowledge of clinical trial requirements during their lifecycle from start up to close out, including a detailed understanding of the regulatory and ethical approval processes across Australia, as well as a thorough knowledge of ICH Guidelines and Good Clinical Practicedemonstrated ability to effectively work as part of a team, and to support and develop team members in their activities and professional development (line management experience desirable)excellent time and workload management with demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and achieve required outcomesexcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with sound negotiating and conflict resolution skills and a demonstrated level of tact and discretion in dealing with day-to-day operational mattersproven ability to identify problems, make recommendations and implement appropriate solutionsthe ability and willingness to travel (20% of time).We reward our employees with a range of benefits, which include:Opportunities for flexible work arrangementsGreat leave conditions including annual leave loading and paid parental leave for eligible staff membersWellbeing programs: discounted gym membership (Fitness Passport)Career development: online training programs, study leave and internal development opportunities.Sponsorship / work rights forAustraliaYou must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to be eligible to apply.
