Join our team of local heroes dedicated to enhancing every guest''s stay.About the RoleAs the Night Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth overnight operations of the hotel and delivering a warm, personalised experience for our guests. In addition to managing the role''s responsibilities, you will oversee the running of the hotel in the absence of the hotel''s General Manager, with particular emphasis on assisting the management of operations within Front Office, monitoring hotel security and maximising the profitability of operations.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage all hotel operations during the night shift, ensuring security, service standards, and smooth departmental coordination.Deliver exceptional guest service, including checkins/outs, responding to concerns, and ensuring all requests are actioned and followed through.Complete the night audit process accurately, ensuring all revenue and payments are posted, balanced, and supported with correct documentation.Supervise night team members, maintaining communication, performance standards, and adherence to operational policies and procedures.Work collaboratively with Housekeeping, Reservations, and Maintenance to ensure rooms and guest needs are prepared and delivered accurately.Maintain operational readiness by completing opening/closing duties, protecting equipment, and supporting other departments when required.Skills & ExperiencePrevious experience in front office or overnight hotel operations acting as the manager on duty.Strong guest service capability, with expertise in anticipating needs and resolving issues with tact, diplomacy, and urgency.Highly proficient in front office systems, night audit processes, and hotel property management software.Experienced in accurate financial reconciliation, including posting revenue, balancing payments, and identifying discrepancies.Welldeveloped communication and leadership skills, supervising night staff and maintaining effective interdepartmental collaboration.Comprehensive knowledge of WH&S guidelines, hotel operational procedures, and local area information relevant to guest experience.Benefits & PerksIncredible team member discounts from your first day onthejob.50% off stays at EVT hotels Rydges, QT, Atura, Lylo and more.$2 movie tickets, plus Moonlight, Gold Class, Candy Bar discounts and more.Awesome winter and summer savings #J-18808-Ljbffr
