Take a quick look at Living and Working in the Far West.Fly-in and Fly-out or Drive-in and Drive-out!Work at various sites across our rural & remote health facilities (Balranald, Buronga, Ivanhoe, Menindee, Tibooburra, Wentworth, White Cliffs & Wilcannia)Casual rotating roster including night shifts working 8 or 12 hour shifts (dependent on site)Minimum 2 weeks on 1 week off option. We encourage you to consider joining our friendly team for a meaningful and rewarding career in rural and remote healthcare.How To ApplyTo be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible:Current nursing/midwifery registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with a minimum three years post graduate experience in an Adult Acute and/or critical care setting and current Advanced Life Support Accreditation.Recent remote and Emergency Department clinical experience, including current Advanced Life Support Accreditation.Demonstrated application of evidence based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement individualised person centred care patient care.Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and personally resolve conflicts when they arise.Demonstrated commitment to work and partner with Aboriginal and Torres Strait, Islander patients and families and employees to enhance health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients.Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills, and willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues.Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team.Current C Class Licence and willingness to travel to rural and remote locations.The Welcome ExperienceThe Welcome Experience connects you and your family with local people and local resources to help you settle in and feel at home in your new community faster.
