In this role, you''ll build strong relationships with members, provide high-quality financial advice, and support members in making informed decisions about their superannuation, retirement planning, and overall financial wellbeing.About the RoleThis is a wonderful opportunity to work with a small industry super fund where personal service is a cornerstone of our service proposition. Like all super funds, we have a growing number of members who are seeking financial advice about maximising their superannuation as part of their retirement plans, stepping into retirement, and managing in their retirement years. Such members are referred by our local teams and stakeholders, the contact centre, our website and from facilitating an annual seminar. Reporting to the Executive Manager, Financial Advice and Education, the Financial Adviser will be based in Adelaide and providing financial advice service to our South Australian members mainly located in Mount Gambier and Adelaide. They must be willing to travel as regular trips to Mount Gambier will be required. They will be working autonomously in providing financial advice and managing the entire process from initial meeting to implementation. Meetings will be held in person, or via videoconference and by phone.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:Deliver tailored, quality financial advice to a diverse member baseConduct comprehensive fact-finding sessions and prepare Statement of Advice (SOA) documentsDevelop strong long-term relationships with members and the local communityEducate members on superannuation, retirement planning, insurance, investments, and Centrelink strategiesMaintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and industry best practicesWork collaboratively with internal support teams and stakeholders to ensure exceptional member experienceAbout YouYou will thrive in this role if you are personable, proactive, and passionate about helping members reach their financial goals.
