This is a fulltime position working Monday to Friday, 6:00am2:30pm, with opportunities for overtime during the week and on Saturdays when production is ramped up. In this role, you''ll be handson with welding, fabrication, and structural assembly tasks that directly contribute to the quality and integrity of our modular units. You''ll work alongside a tightknit team, following established processes to meet safety, quality, and production targets. If you enjoy practical work, take pride in precision, and like seeing the results of your craftsmanship come to life, you''ll feel right at home.Key responsibilitiesFabricate steel modular building components to specification using various welding techniques.Accurately measure, mark, and cut steel using oxy, plasma, or mechanical methods.Read and interpret technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly.Operate workshop equipment safely and maintain a clean, organised work area.Uphold high standards of quality control and ensure materials meet required specifications.Support team development by mentoring apprentices and managing workloads effectively.About youYou''re a tradequalified Welder or Boilermaker who knows their craft and brings a strong commitment to doing things properly.
