Reporting to the Head of Product Design & Engineering, you''ll help deliver engineering excellence, continuous design improvement, and world-class products that create exceptional customer experiences on the water.You''ll work closely with design, production, quality, supply chain, and external partners, owning products from concept through to production and beyond.What You''ll Be DoingDevelop detailed CAD designs and comprehensive engineering documentationPerform FEM/FEA and tolerance analyses to support robust design decisionsPlan and execute design validation testing and prototypingApply Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles and support production implementationLead process validation activities and manage Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)Prepare and facilitate Design and Process FMEAsInvestigate and resolve product and manufacturing issuesCollaborate closely with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver projects on time and within budgetWhat We''re Looking ForBachelor''s or Master''s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline)10+ years'' professional engineering experience, including 3+ years in a comparable senior roleAdvanced proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred)Strong experience across full NPD lifecycle concept to productionDeep understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and part specificationWorking knowledge of FEA and tolerance analysisExperience with CNC machining and injection mouldingComposites experience is advantageousStrong analytical mindset with creative problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable owning complex engineering challengesMechatronics experienceWhy Fliteboard?You''ll be part of a fearless, passionate team creating iconic products at the forefront of foiling innovation.
