Even though we are not physically together, the way we work helps us stay connected, communicate openly, and feel supported as a team.We are looking for an experienced TAE Trainer and Assessor to join our team in a full-time, ongoing, working from home role.About the roleThis role is focused on supporting students to complete their TAE studies, including TAE40122, TAE50122, and related TAE units and skill sets.Unlike a traditional, delivery-focused training role, the work involves balancing student support with other responsibilities across the day. The role will suit someone who is organised, enjoys supporting learners, loves variety, and thrives on juggling priorities as needs arise.Your work will include:Supporting students online with assessment and study-related questions through meetings, phone calls, and email, helping make things clear and easy to understandAssessing student work and providing clear, practical feedback to support student progressContributing to improvement activities and project work as opportunities ariseWorking closely with the team, taking responsibility for your work and pitching in where needed to support shared goalsDelivering online workshops for corporate clients (typically 12 hours in duration)About youYou are an experienced TAE trainer with a good understanding of the VET sector and enjoy supporting adult learners to succeed.You hold the legislated qualifications required to deliver and assess TAE qualifications:TAE40116 or TAE40122, anda TAE Diploma or a higher-level qualification in VET or adult educationYou will:Be confident delivering and assessing TAE qualificationsCommunicate clearly and professionally, both written and verbalBuild effective working relationships with students from a wide range of industries and experience levelsAdapt easily as focus shifts between different tasks and priorities throughout the dayBe comfortable working in a fully online environment from home and using digital systems to manage your work effectivelyWhy work with Fortress Learning?You will work in a close-knit team where your input is valued and genuinely influences how things are doneOur leadership team is approachable, supportive, and easy to communicate withWe prioritise doing things properly, even when the workload is highYou will have opportunities to build your skills through project work, professional development, and the practical use of technology, including AI toolsAdditional informationThis is a full-time, ongoing position (not casual or contract).As this is a working from home role, applicants will need their own suitable home office setup, including reliable internet, to support online delivery and assessment.Employment conditions and remuneration will be discussed with shortlisted candidates.Applicants must have the right to work in Australia or New Zealand.
