This is a great opportunity to expand your skills in Litigation and Corporate Recovery Services while working within a collaborative and friendly team.To be successful in this role you will possess the following qualities:2+ years post admission in commercial disputes & litigation experienceAbility to communicate effectively and professionally (written and verbal)A team player who relishes the opportunity to develop your career and use your initiativeExceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly build rapport with colleagues and stakeholdersDemonstrated skillset to manage timeframes and proactively manage priorities within a teamThis is a great opportunity to join a highly regarded team where you can learn from experts and build a long-term career.Your roleWe are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic lawyer with +2 years of post-admission experience to join our established Disputes and Investigation practice group.Working with leading Partners, Susan Forrest and Barbara-Ann Sim, you will gain valuable exposure to a range of different matters and clients and work as part of a dynamic team environment.The group works in the areas of commercial litigation specialising in banking litigation and insolvency, representing local and national clients. The team delivers proven strategic and commercial outcomes to clients through the application of comprehensive legal, forensic, investigative and evidentiary skills.Day to day, you will:Provide advice and management of banking litigation matters, including enforcement of securitiesHave responsibility for your own files (under supervision and guidance) with direct client relationship managementAppear in Court (without Counsel on routine matters /with Counsel), including preparing submissionsAssist in negotiations with other parties and drafting necessary documentsSupporting other team membersAbout GadensGadens is a leading, independent Australian law firm, with a clear vision and strategy for the future.
